Cardiotachometer
Máca, Kamil ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This masters thesis describes possibilities of a heart rate measuring. Several methods of measuring will be discussed. The primary objective of this paper is to design battery powered cardiotachometr with a range of 30-240 beats/min and a low battery indication. Cardiotachometer uses the R waves detector to measure heart rate. This thesis is focused on creation of the block diagram, electrical circuit, printed circuit and calculation of electronic device used in cardiotachometers.
Analysis of heart rate variability in animal models
Řehořková, Iveta ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This paper deals with the analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) in animal models. The first part discusses, the basic information concerning the ECG, both in humans and in individual laboratory animals. This is followed by an introduction to the topic of heart rate variability, a description of methods for its determination and the effects of pathologies on HRV values. Prior to the practical section, the methods of ECG acquisition in animal models are discussed, and the function of the perfusion model used in capturing data for this work is also described in detail. The last part deals with the analysis of HRV provided data, performed in Matlab environment and an evaluation of the chosen methods.
Analysis of measured parameters of the cardiovascular system
Lysoň, Jakub ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kratochvíla, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis talks about the measurement of heart electrical activity by twelve lead ECG. The diagnostic system Biopac is used for measurement, featured by the computer program Acqknowledge. The own authentic method is designed to detect effect of load on increasing in blood pressure and heartbeat. Using a statistical procedure for testing hypotheses in this area the measurement results will be evaluated. For the analysis of measured data in time and frequency domain was used program Matlab, in which the measured results were imported. It was created functions that are implemented in an medium of Guide to the graphic design program.
Automatic delineation of ECG signals
Žiak, Milan ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals about automatic delineation of ECG. We use algorithm, which is descriped by autors Lagune, Jané and Caminale. Their work uses first derivation for delineation ECG signal. This bachelor thesis also uses a wavelet transform to reach better results.
ECG signals compression
Botlová, Simona ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the compression of ECG signals using wavelet transform and run length encoding. The principles of electrocardiography, compression methods, wavelet transform and run length encoding are described in this thesis. There was created a program to compress and decompress ECG signals in MATLAB interface. The wavelet transform settings and their influence on compress ratio and percentage root mean square difference were tested. Subsequently, the appropriate adjustment of algoritm was found and it was used on CSE database compression.
Delineation of ECG signals using leads transformation
Ruttner, Michal ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with delineation of ECG signals. First we will become familiar with ECG and commonly used processing methods. Various transformation methods of ECG leads. Further we will describe methods of delineation ECG signals. Second part is dedicated to metod used in this work for delineation of ECG signals from CSE database. Particulary method using Dyadic Wavelet Transform. Work include, description of used program and results. Third part is dedicated to methods of ECG leads transformations and cluster analysis. In conclusion we will evaluate the results.
Noise suppression in ECG signal based on the empirical mode decomposition
Hemzalová, Zuzana ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on signal-filtering method based on empirici mode decomposition. The proposed EMD-based method is able power line interference to remove with minimum signal distortion.
Delineation of experimental ECG data
Hanzelka, Adam ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with an analysis of principles of ECG signals detection and delineation. The theoretical part describes heart electrophysiology and electrocardiography basics. Next, the most important QRS detection and ECG delineation algorithms are introduced. Especially the wavelet transform methods are described. In the practical part proper delineation algoriythm was realized. It was tested on the standard CSE database, then it was modified on data of isolated rabbit heartsand the results are published in the conclusion.
Automatic detection of myocardial infarction in ECG
Nejedlý, Lukáš ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Smíšek, Radovan (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the automatic detection of myocardial infarction in ECG. Semester work consists of two parts. The theoretical part provides a description of the electrical conduction system of the heart, spreading of electrical activity through the heart muscle, the methods of ECG scanning and the ECG curve. There are also mentioned the causes of myocardial ischemia and various methods of its detection. Another part is devoted to high-frequency ECG, analysis of HFQRS and clinical studies which describe the use of high-frequency ECG in diagnosis of myocardial infarction. In the practical part is proposed an algorithm using low-frequency components ECG and an algorithm using high-frequency components ECG for automatic detection of myocardial infarction. The proposed algorithms are implemented in programming environment MATLAB and tested on signals from the PTB database. The final part of the master‘s thesis is devoted to the comparison of the success of myocardial infarction by means of low frequency and high frequency components of ECG and comparison of achieved results with results from clinical studies.
